Client Implementation Specialist

As the Client Implementation Specialist, you will act as the technical point of contact for clients, and the liaison between the engineering and account management teams. Leveraging your web engineering background, you will design implementation plans for new clients in conjunction with their strategic account plans, and project manage the set up, configuration and execution of those plans, coordinating across multiple internal and external groups. You will identify and address any technical issues impacting clients both proactively and reactively, seeing issues through to resolution. You will also identify process inefficiencies and drive improvements.

Requirements
- Work closely with our product team, engineers, and developers to grow a deep understanding of our platform and product capabilities
- Partner closely with Account Management to drive customer satisfaction and growth of their business while identifying key customer needs and working internally to provide solutions
- Strong technical project management and time management skills
- Strong client facing communication skills developed in early stage product environments
- Experience working in a matrixed or young organization where every day is “all hands on deck” and process is in development
- The ability to motivate and coordinate disparate internal groups toward a common goal
- Prompt follow-up, anticipation of client issues and reliability is key
- Provide clear, concise translations of customer needs/feedback to internal groups
- Proactive problem solving and issue resolution, with prioritization synchronized to meet our business objectives
- Be adaptable as company and customer needs evolve
- IMPROVISE – the ability to be creative about using the tools at your disposal to provide excellent customer service and solutions
- Help our business grow by identifying solutions for our daily business challenges
Prior Experience
- BA/BS required, technical discipline preferred
- 5-10 years collective experience with 4+ years in the online space
- 4+ years in one or more of the following: technology consulting, enterprise software implementation, or technology client service/support
- 4+ years in a client facing role, experience in online advertising or publisher/advertiser/agency support preferred
- Significant experience regularly communicating with clients, engendering respect and building rapport – candidates having built meaningful professional friendships with clients preferred.
Technical Skills
- High technical proficiency – learn the details of our unique software platform fast and then understand how the underlying architecture drives client-relevant outcomes
- Familiarity with:
- Web development
- Flash and ActionScript
- JavaScript
- HTML and CSS
- Server-side languages: Java, PHP, Perl, Ruby, Python, ASP
- Using third party Web APIs
